We are excited to announce we met our goal and reached 40,000 meals donated to local rescue by the end of 2021! At 4-Legged Kids, we feel that providing for homeless pets & the people that care for them is our social responsibility and we take joy in connecting our important work to the important St. Louis rescue community.
Since 2018, each service we provide to you allows us to donate a meal to a local non-profit. Every one of us at 4-Legged Kids believes in giving back to the community. In fact, our Mission is one of the biggest things that attracts new members to our team!

SECOND CHANCE RANCH
What they do: SECOND CHANCE RANCH is located at a renovated farmhouse in Valley Park and these people have an amazing mission we love! They have committed to helping senior dogs who are homeless, or ill, or even on hospice care, live out their lives to the best.
Our Founder’s View: Really. Powerful. Mission. This all-volunteer group provides all the love that some of these seniors never received from their own families. The stories run from dogs that had owners that couldn’t, or wouldn’t provide the care they needed to dogs that were given up for one craptastic reason or another. People will rationalize anything. They have two floors of a farmhouse renovated as a HOME for these sweet seniors to live out the rest of the time they have in comfort. They have someone with them 100% of the time. A volunteer even sleeps there…one on each floor so if someone is sick or needs to potty at night they won’t suffer. They give ALL the feels here. They rely 100% on donations to continue their amazing work! Visit their Facebook Page for more information and to follow their stories.
TENTH LIFE CAT RESCUE
What they do: Cats representing in the house! Tenth Life is a pretty incredible group of cat fanatics! Their goal is to create the most amazing shelter and adoption center the midwest has seen…they are on their way and have a wonderful community resource center and adoption lounge on Cherokee Street in St. Louis. That is a bit limited right now due to Covid, but they have plenty of amazing cats to consider in their foster homes.
Our Founder’s View: Well my title isn’t C.A.T. for nothing! I love dogs, but cats are my heart. With 4 rescue cats of my own, all-cat rescues make me purr. This is a great group with a strong mission to promote education and care in the St. Louis area and we are proud to be a sponsor this year!
