The Pet Boarding and Daycare Expo is an annual national conference for professionals in the pet boarding and daycare industry. It took place in Hershey, PA last week. The event features an extensive trade show that showcases some of the best products and companies in the pet space. Additionally, this event brings together top industry speakers to share their expertise. I enthusiastically delivered the Keynote address at this year’s Pet Boarding and Daycare Expo. My presentation, Crush the Box: Unleashing Your Pet Business Potential, impacted pet industry entrepreneurs from around the country and abroad. Today, I’m sharing a bit about this experience. It was an honor to represent 4-Legged Kids, Inc. and my other pet care industry initiative at this prestigious event.
From St. Louis to the World: Keynote Address
As a seasoned pet industry entrepreneur, I help other industry players embark on a transformative journey to unlock their full potential in our industry. In this presentation, I discussed industry trends, strategic growth, and the power of community and collaboration.
From the start, I set out to show attendees from around the world how to break free from their often self-imposed limits, find their flow, and harness their unique strengths to become a leader in the pet care world. My goal was for my audience to walk away with an expanded mindset, practical tools, and a clear vision to elevate their business.
Together, I believe we can revolutionize the pet industry and crush the box together. My keynote address got the ball rolling in that direction. Much to my delight, audience members and event coordinators agreed that my keynote address inspired them to crush the box – destroying anything that stands between them and their success!

The pet industry is projected to experience “ongoing modest but steady growth across all sectors through 2028, when sales are expected to top $190 billion,” and, is often referred to as economically resilient and recession-proof.
As a mostly unregulated industry, pet care touches the lives of many Americans. For this reason, I am passionate about elevating the industry by helping pet business owners not only reach their individual potential, but also offer the best possible service to their clients and the pets in their care.
